Each course is carefully constructed to allow hands-on instruction while experiencing real-world driving situations.
SKID PAD COURSE
Description:
Watered down circle, student will enter a skid and perform counter steering while decelerating to a controlled stop
Objective:
Recognize loss of control and counter steer skid to controlled stop
SLALOM COURSE
Description:
Student will weave car through 5 cone course turning left and right in reverse.
Objective:
Control car in reverse
SLALOM COURSE WITH DECISION POINT
Description:
Student will weave car through 5 cone course turning left and right ending with a straight away to a group of cones where the instructor will give the student a last-minute decision of left or right and student will have to react accordingly.
Objective:
Familiarize student with car control, feel, weight transfer, quick hand movements, reaction and proper visual scan
STRAIGHT COURSE
Description:
9 cone course double sided – Texting and driving
Objective:
Text and drive in controlled environment to see the effect
STRAIGHT COURSE ENDING WITH CURVE
Description:
9 cone course double sided – Accelerate quickly apply straight-line threshold braking enter curve and continue with trail braking
Objective:
Understand capability of car braking system, emphasize straight-line braking, develop a feel for trail braking
